The double exhibition curated by Claudia Cappello at LINLI ART SPACE presents the works of Chen Yuxing (Yueyang Hunan, 1994) and Liu Xuanzhu (Changde Hunan, 1990), focusing on the production of the two Chinese artists living in Italy and on the silent and profound dialogue between their works, different in theme and approach, inviting the visitor to reflect on the tensions and assonances that regulate interpersonal relationships and those with the outside world. Chen Yuxing exhibits a series of paintings in which the leaves of plants symbolize self-awareness and feminine strength, while Liu Xuanzhu presents a series of portraits, featuring Chen herself as the protagonist, in which the artist addresses the theme of objectified subjectivity, placing attention on the subtle play of glances and perspectives that characterizes the creative process.
