Honor to the genius

Man Ray | Courtesy Tommaso Calabro

Faithful to its program of valorizing figures linked to the Surrealist movement and the gallery owner Alexander Iolas, the Tommaso Calabro Gallery dedicates an exhibition to Man Ray, one of the most visionary and innovative artists of the twentieth century, displaying a selection of more than forty works - including paintings, assemblages, photographs, gouaches and graphics - created between the 1920s and the 1970s. The exhibition reviews the multifaceted and prolific work of the American artist, who chose to spend most of his life in Paris. Born Emmanuel Radnitzky (Philadelphia, 1890 - Paris, 1976), Man Ray adopted different languages during his long artistic career, transforming his art into a constant spectacle of metamorphosis.
